What we collect
When you create an IC Timer account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and optionally your church or organization name. When you create an event, we store the schedule details you enter — titles, times, speaker names, venue, and any notes you add.
Public event links
Each event gets a unique, hard-to-guess public link for its stage display, speaker view and agenda. Anyone with that link can view the event's schedule and live status without an account. You can rotate a link at any time to revoke access to the old one.
Display connections
To show you how many screens are following an event, each display generates a random identifier stored in its own browser. We do not use this to fingerprint devices, track individuals across events, or link it to any other data.
How we use your data
We use your information solely to operate IC Timer: running your events, sending account-related email (verification, password reset), and maintaining basic usage statistics to keep the service reliable. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Data retention
Your events and their run history remain in your account until you delete them. Deleting an event removes its schedule and analytics permanently.
Your rights
- You can edit your profile information at any time.
- You can delete your account, which removes your events and personal data.
- You can rotate or revoke any public event link.
